ELA: 

This week we will read both fiction and non-fiction texts while focusing on inferring character traits, theme, and unfamiliar words.  We will practice making inferences during our read aloud and independent reading times.  Book groups are up in running and students are having great discussions about their text.

Tuesday November 3rd:  We're off to Gillette Stadium tomorrow for our first fifth grade field trip!  Be sure to come to school on time, we'll be leaving at 9:00 am! Also, remember to wear comfortable shoes and bring a bag lunch.
